Carpooling is encouraged, because sometimes we must negotiate bad roads or arrive at places with limited parking and for general conservation reasons. The carpooling rate is ten cents (10¢) per kilometre per passenger being paid to the driver at the end of the trip. There is a $2 minimum charge per passenger.
